If you apply as a LLC or Corporation, yes you will need a business bank account that is under your LLC or Corporation. However, if you elect to apply as a Sole Proprietor, you can use your personal bank account.
Just as every business is different, every approval process is different. On average, it can take 1-2 business weeks to go through the application process. Our Relationship Managers have been trained to help businesses of all shapes and sizes, and will work with you to guide you through the process as quickly as possible.
To apply for payment processing, your business will need to be legally registered in the United States, with an EIN. If you live outside the US, you will need a member within your organization to act as the signer/guarantor that currently lives in the United States. Please talk to one of our Relationship Managers for more details.
You can apply for payment processing on our site. The application form takes about 5 minutes to fill out. Expect to enter some basic information about your business, address and contact information. When you submit your application, you will be assigned a dedicated Relationship Manager who will follow up with you on your application, and help get you approved and onboarded.
